Bugs are so cute, aren't they?
At least in this game! I think if you're afraid of bugs, you won't have an issue with the bug content in this game. Because it's all so CUTE! The cartoony style is so charming, and the content is so childish in such a positive way...
Picked this up because it was cheap, and because I personally love bugs. At the time, I didn't know it was a baby mode (said with SO much affection) pokemon game! There's even shiny variants in game! But every single part of this game works in tandem with each other. The art is gorgeous, so packed with individuality. The music is so soft and cute, the characters are adorable...
This game made me feel like a child again, in the best way possible! It's also very short and can be finished in one setting. The completionist in me wants to catch a shiny variant of every bug... And you're able to replay the game on a harder "difficulty" when you're done!
There's not much else to say! It's just a fun, childlike, short expreience. I thoroughly enjoyed my time playing this game, and recommend it for a sunny afternoon! I opted to give it minus one star because I do feel like it ended rather abruptly, but it's not a big deal.
